Sydney Sixers has got two amazing rivals

  • The Sydney Thunder
  • Perth Scorchers

The division of New South Wales give birth to the most sensational rivalry of the tournament i.e. between Sydney Thunders and Sydney Sixers. This considered the most extensively projected rivalry in Sydney. Out of the total 11 matches played between the two giants, Sydney Sixers won 8 times and 3 times they had to face the defeat against Sydney Thunders.

Likewise, the Rivalry with Perth Scorchers is also notable. Both teams have played 7 matches against each other in which Scorchers remain dominant with 4 victories and a tie in contrast Sixers could manage to win only 2 times. The rivalry gained popularity with the series of close encounters between the competitors. In first season, Sixers conquered the pride by grabbing the title in Perth.

It is said that revenge is always sweet and the Scorchers have tasted the sweetness in the season 4 of KFC Big Bash League. This rivalry emerged as a result of many close finishes which grabbed the attention of the audience till then end because all those who come to the stadium want to watch a sizzler which no rivalry can provide better then these two teams. Two distinct examples are the Victory of Perth Scorchers in the Super over that was the season 03 of KFC Big Bash League. And in Season 04 Scorchers won the tournament on the last ball of the match and eventually last ball of the tournament.

These 2 encounters are considered as the most sizzling, most thrilling, most sensational and the most scintillating matches of the entire KFC Big Bash League.

Looking forward to see the Sydney Sixers in action in the 2017-2018 edition of KFC Big Bash League.
